About QATestLog

A bug tracker built around the number most tools leave out.

QATestLog is a defect tracker and test-management tool for small software teams — the ones where the tester, the developer and the person deciding whether to ship are three people, or sometimes two.

It was built around a single conviction: that the hardest thing to get right in QA is not finding defects but keeping an honest account of what has and has not been looked at. So the untested count travels with every run, "fixed" and "verified" are kept as separate claims by separate people, and the readiness summary carries the date it was written and a warning when the evidence underneath it has moved on.

The AI features draft and suggest. They do not decide, and they do not write to the tracker. Every one of them ends at a review screen where a person presses save — because a record nobody read is read by everyone else as though a tester wrote it.
